We are looking for an Expert, Water systems to join our dynamic Balance of Plant team consisting of ten process system experts, developing future engine power plants.

The preferred location for the position is in Vaasa, Finland, but also Helsinki and Turku are possible locations. We offer the possibility of hybrid remote work. 
  
Your role and responsibilities  
 
In this position, your work will include product management, cooperation with suppliers and system integration expertise. On a typical day, you might start by supporting a project team with expertise in water treatment and end the day by developing solutions for our latest power plant concept. You will not be working alone, even though the work requires a high level of independence and sharing expertise and knowledge, as you will have support from your own team and the product team.

For us to be the best match, we expect you to have an understanding of water treatment and experience in product management. As an ideal candidate, you should have experience with industrial water systems and hold a degree in chemical or environmental engineering. To succeed in this position, you should have a systematic way of working and be open to a dynamic work environment.

As an Expert, Water systems, your work will focus on these responsibilities:

• act as a Product and Development manager for product water treatment and wastewater products. Responsible for development, supplier contacts, and portfolio maintenance.
• develop and support the implementation of the water treatment solutions for power plants (system integration)
• act as a Product Manager for tanks, maintaining the tank portfolio for our auxiliary systems (e.g. Water, Firewater, Lubricating, and Fuel oil)
• Support Sales, Project, and Lifecycle Teams related to water treatment systems and products.

You will shine in this role, when: 

• you hold an MSc or BSc degree in Chemical, Environmental, or other suitable fields of Engineering.
• you have knowledge or experience of industrial water treatment systems, preferably related to power plant facilities.
• you have a good understanding of product development and product portfolio maintenance.
• you have experience in system functionality, instrumentation, and control is seen as favorable.
• your way of working is systematic, structured, and with a good sense of detail, but you still have a flexible mindset and can adjust to a dynamic work environment.
• you have good communication skills, as we are working in an international business environment, we require good communication skills in English, both written and spoken. You also have good team working and social skills.
