SandyPines is seeking a dynamic and talented Nurse Manager.

SandyPines is a 149 bed Residential Psychiatric Facility servicing children and adolescents ages 5 to 17. The facility is located in beautiful sub-tropical South Florida and is nestled beside Jonathan Dickinson Sate Park which creates a rustic, roomy outdoor atmosphere. SandyPines is at the county line of both Palm Beach and Martin Counties and is just minutes away from the shores of the Atlantic Ocean.

The Nurse Manager works in close collaboration with the Director of Nursing to manage and coordinate the 24/7 care of residents and of the therapeutic milieu of units.

Qualifications

Position Requirements:

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Florida required. BSN preferred.
• One year experience working with children and adolescents and in mental health preferred.
• One year leadership experience preferred.
• Detail oriented and ability to successfully multi task in a fast pace environment.
• Strong communication skills.
• Excellent customer service and organization skills.
• Highly effective listening skills.

Physical Requirements:

Physical effort. May be required occasionally to help with resident restraint and carrying resident. Occasionally prolonged standing, walking, sitting, bending, kneeling, reaching and holding. Subject to heavy workload pressure due to nature of the resident population. Subject to crisis interventions and many interruptions during hours of work
