Overview:

As a UI program assistant, you’ll impact our tutoring programs, providing support to our operations team so processes run smoothly, and our tutors have the tools they need to impact K-12 student outcomes.

• While this position may be performed remotely, additional positions and growth opportunities with UI may require in person work in communities and school districts UI supports.

Responsibilities:
Roles and Responsibilities

• Ensure processes that support UI tutoring programs run efficiently
• Approve tutors’ timesheets accurately and prior to payroll deadlines
• Develop processes to regularly audit timecards for inaccuracies and inconsistencies
• Respond to employee inquiries and questions related to program processes and systems
• Establish regular communication and check points with UI tutors to ensure reports and tutoring session data are submitted on time
• Support UI Program Management team as needed

Education and Work Experience

As a successful applicant, you must have a passion for advocating for and helping students succeed. Additionally, you will need to:

Hold a bachelor’s degree (Preferred) AND

Commit to working up to 35-40 hours each week AND

Demonstrate ONE of the following: 1) At least 2-3 years of experience working in a K-12 educational setting OR 2) Any similar combination of education and experience
