Warehouse – Shipping & Receiving Clerk

We are looking for a hard-working, organized person to help out in our busy warehouse.

• Monday – Friday, 8AM – 5PM
• $18 – $20/hour
• Full Benefits – Day-1 – Health, Dental, Vision

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing orders for shipping; pull orders according to the packing slip, box, and label for shipping.
• Help with receiving; open packages, verify contents against packing slip, record discrepancies , and forward packing slips to appropriate department.
• Put items away; plan location layouts and relocate new and used items, document location of materials going into inventory.
• Perform inventory cycle counts.
• Process Returns
• Investigate UPS/FedEx shipments. Billing and Claims
• Scan and file vendor packing slips
• Other misc. related duties

Requirements

• Related shipping, warehouse, or inventory experience.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Computer knowledge. Accurate data entry skills
• Ability to identify necessary tasks & carry them out with little supervision
• Ability to interact professionally and tactfully with co-workers and customers
• Valid Driver’s License – clean driving record

Physical Demands & Working Conditions

• Ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds on a daily basis.
• Standing and walking approximately 90% of the time.
• Ability to tolerate heights up to 6 feet.
• Bending, kneeling on a daily basis.
