Our client is a leading private equity firm focused on investing in international growth markets. They invest across sustainable growth, foster economic development, and create long-term value for investors, portfolio companies, and communities. They are looking to hire a Senior Compliance Associate to cover a generalist remit, reporting directly to the COO as part of a small but efficient team. What the job involves

• Design, develop, and implement comprehensive compliance programs and policies
• Stay abreast of relevant regulatory changes and updates, ensuring the firm’s compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
• Prepare and submit required regulatory filings to the FCA and SEC and reports accurately and timely
• Identify and assess potential compliance risks within operations and investments
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure risk management/ compliance processes are integrated into the fund’s overall business strategy
• Foster a culture of compliance and ethical behaviour throughout the organisation

Who we are looking for

• Familiarity with FCA/ SEC jurisdictions as well as exposure to monitoring, advisory and generalist functions
• A relevant professional certification (e.g., CCEP, CRCM, CISI) or degree is advantageous
• Experience in compliance, risk management, or a related field, within the private equity, investment banking or alternative asset management industry
• Strong knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks and compliance standards
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organisation
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure
