Highways Engineer – Birmingham

My client, one of the UK’s leading multidisciplinary consultancies, is looking for a Highway Engineer to join their team in Birmingham!

You will be working with a brilliant team of engineers, technicians, and other industry professionals within both private and public sectors to support expansion within the business of strategic highways and transport markets!

What does the role involve?

• You will be preparing scheme drawings all the way from feasibility design through to detailed designs.
• You will prepare and check both horizontal and vertical alignments in 3D models and support the Project Team in designing Highway Schemes.
• You will co-ordinariate the highway design process and integrate with other design disciplines within the multidisciplinary team.

What are the requirements?

• A degree in Civil Engineering (or the equivalent).
• The ability to support project managers and senior engineers in delivering projects.
• Previous experience within the field, including the preparation of drawings and reports.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
