RESEARCH ASSOCIATE IN REAL-WORLD HEALTH OUTCOMES RESEARCH
We are seeking a Research Associate to join a multi-disciplinary research team to conduct real-world data-based health outcomes research work in particular in the area of predictive risk modelling and disease economic burden .
The position provides the candidate a great opportunity to develop big health data management and analytic skills, in particular in health administrative data and international clinic registries, and work with international experts in respiratory medicine, health economics, industry and policy regulators. The job holder will be involved in research projects related to health services and economic burdens of chronic diseases and machine-learning risk predictive modelling. The job holder will be an integral part of several research projects with responsibilities including: data management, data analysis, and preparation of scientific papers. The job holder will work closely with Assistant Professor Chen Wenjia, as well as local, regional, and international experts in health economics and outcomes research, respiratory medicine and public health agency.
This full-time position is based at the Tahir Foundation Building at National University of Singapore. The position has a 1 year of contract in the first instance and could be extended.
• Master degrees in statistics, applied math, applied economics or public health/epidemiology.
• Very good statistical skills in data management and data analysis.
• At least 1 year of hands-on experiences in data management and analysis using standard software programs such R, Stata, SAS, python.
• Very good written and oral communication skills.
• Fluent in English.
