Position Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced and hands-on HR Manager to join their team. This role provides full-cycle human resources expertise in a dynamic, fast-growing environment. The HR Manager will be responsible for tasks that prioritize responsiveness, effective communication, and solutions development. This role plays a critical role in executing the company’s human capital initiatives, offering internal customer support, and driving HR functional excellence and process improvement at both the corporate and branch levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze HR-related data, including employee census data and benefits, during acquisition due diligence.
• Lead the integration of employees following acquisitions, emphasizing alignment with core values.
• Promote core values and a strong culture through employee engagement programs.
• Oversee performance management processes, partnering with managers to provide proactive guidance, coaching, counseling, and performance improvement actions.
• Collaborate with managers to address employee relations issues.
• Develop and manage talent development processes to foster individual and organizational growth.
• Analyze HR data to provide compensation support, ensuring competitive rewards aligned with business objectives.
• Create a recruitment strategy to enhance brand awareness in line with operational and sales projections; actively recruit and screen candidates in coordination with hiring managers.
• Generate official employee communications, including offer letters, disciplinary actions, and benefit changes.
• Work with our co-employer to manage employee benefits programs, including annual open enrollment, 401(k) administration, and health savings account administration.
• Continuously review policies, procedures, and general HR practices for compliance with HR laws and risk assessment, ensuring alignment with the employee handbook, client requirements, onboarding/exiting processes, employment changes, and performance management, while addressing issues effectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field is required.
• Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) certification is preferred.
• Minimum of five years of HR generalist experience, with a focus on employee relations and integration, recruitment, talent management, and compliance.
• Experience in mergers and acquisitions is a plus, particularly with an emphasis on integrating employees and HR processes.
• Strong business acumen and proven ability to drive change throughout all levels of an organization.
• Demonstrated ability to customize HR processes to meet the specific needs of an organization.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; approachable and responsive.
• Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office products and HRM systems.
