Creare Group Looking For Sales Assistant to CEO AT New York, New York Full Time

The Sales Assistant supports the execution of strategies set by the CEO by performing general sales activities including follow-up and customer service related to fabric sales or garment sales, in order to maximize sales support and promote the brand(s), where appropriate, while maintaining optimal relationships with customers.

The Sales Assistant will partner with customers and colleagues on open points of Production, Costing and Sourcing to ensure timely delivery of goods from each factory and mill

• Track and update regularly the status of POs, shipments; and follow-up on orders from fabric to garment orders
• Must have experience in daily communication working with overseas teams. Following up on all emails and requests from clients and overseas factories and mills
• Assist in scheduling travel or special corporate events as needed
• Posting on LinkedIn and social media sites for company weekly
• Assist with general duties in office. including answering phone, door, opening and sending packages, keeping showroom clean and organized. Order supplies when needed.
• Contribute positively to team dynamic and manage up where necessary

Qualifications

• 5 years Fashion garment or fabric sales experience a must
• Superior organizational skills and excellent communication skills; team oriented and outgoing
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines; highly detail oriented and meticulous
• The candidate must be highly motivated, flexible, learn quickly, and work efficiently when multiple projects are assigned
• Has a professional image to interact with corporate clients
• Must be able to work well under pressure and handle multiple projects at one time.
• Must be able to multitask and transition from one project to the next with ease
• Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Must have strong Microsoft skills / Google Docs, Sheets, Excel experience
• Must be a quick learner with the ability to prioritize workload
• Must be willing and able to learn our clients software systems
• Must have the ability to work independently and collaboratively
