Conrad Consulting Ltd Looking For Project Structural Engineer – Birmingham At Birmingham, West Midlands Full Time

We are working with a multi-disciplinary consultancy with an interesting and varying project workload, which focuses mainly on commercial, retail, education, health and residential.

The busy and growing team in their Birmingham office have an exciting opportunity for a Structural Project Engineer with at least 3 years’ experience of working on buildings structures. The successful engineer will become an integral member of their skilled Structures team and help with their expanding workload on a full-time permanent basis. Although this role is based in their Birmingham office there is also the opportunity this company fully supports hybrid working.

Projects: This firm covers a wide range of building structures and your design experience should include RC, steel, masonry and timber.

Requirements of the Project Structural Engineer:

• A degree in civil or structural engineering,
• Between 3 to 4 years’ experience designing buildings using Eurocodes,
• Experience in the residential, higher education and research sector
• Experience designing using concrete, steel, masonry and timber,
• Experience of working with design software packages (such as Tekla, Tedds, Robot) and for validating those design models,
• A good communicator with the ability to explain ideas and solutions clearly and concisely to colleagues and external stakeholders,
• Must be a confident designer who is able to work autonomously,
• Good client liaison skills.
