Calibre Search HIRING FOR Civil Engineering Technician AT Bristol Full Time

A great opportunity has arisen for a Civil Engineering Technician to join a design team in Bristol. You will be key member of the team supporting the Engineers daily and take the pressure off them, allowing them to do more calculations.
Main duties:

• Production of computer aided design drawings to clients engineering standards and specifications, typical work includes drainage, earthworks, highways, and utility co-ordination.
• Developing 3D/BIM models and CAD design documentation.
• Working in conjunction with multi – disciplinary engineering teams.
• Contributing to providing solutions to design problems.

You will have a qualification such as a HNC in Civil Engineering, and have some experience in a consultancy environment, however the latter of these is desirable not essential if you have the drive and ambition to develop your skills. You should be proficient in Civil Engineering software’s such as Civil 3D
