Bunker Hill Community College (BHCC) is a multi-campus institution with vibrant, urban campuses in Boston, Massachusetts, in nearby Chelsea, Massachusetts, and at several satellites and instructional sites throughout the Greater Boston area. The largest of the 15 community colleges in Massachusetts, BHCC serves some 18,000 students annually, focusing on holistic student services to ensure student retention and persistence. Job Description:
The Education Program at BHCC is designed to prepare students for transfer to four-year institutions to become licensed educators in K-12 settings.
ECE103 Child Growth and Development (in-person), Chelsea Campus 1:35PM-3:05PM, Tuesdays and Thursdays
Requirements:
Master’s Degree in Education or professional educator licensure with Master’s Degree in other content area
Experience teaching youth in grades K-12, preferably in Massachusetts
Proven ability to work with diverse faculty, staff and student populations
Desire to prepare future educators to provide high-quality instruction
Commitment to helping future educators think critically about how education systems impact students
Preferred Qualifications:
Community college teaching experience
Multi-lingual
Additional Information:
Salary: $1,132.00 per credit hour
