Location: Corby

ATA Recruitment are working with a Global manufacturer of polyurethane foams used by a wide range of sectors such as Automotive, Aerospace, Industrial and Medical. They are currently looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join their dynamic team in Corby to aid with increasing client demands.

The Role

As a Manufacturing Engineer you will be responsible for design and costing of bespoke foam for clients mainly from Automotive, Aerospace, Industrial and Medical industries.

Key responsibilities for a Manufacturing Engineer will be:

• To establish the feasibility for bespoke products to be made
• To establish what the manufacturing process will be to make the product
• To put together costing for the manufacturing process
• To carry out trail runs providing samples for the clients

The Candidate

The ideal Manufacturing Engineer will be

• Experience in manufacturing
• An engineering qualification, apprenticeship route will also be considered

• AutoCAD experience
• The ability to work as part of a team and as an individual
• Excellent communication skills
