We are now looking for our Financial Management Software cluster an experienced and focused
Director of Product Office. What you will be doing
The Director of Product Office is responsible for the operational and strategic management of common unit area work. The main responsibilities revolve around unit level finance management, planning, governance & assurance, communications, contract management, people development, and KPI’s across the software suite. We have been in business for nearly 40 years and thus have many products in the portfolio. We also have a healthy R&D pipeline and with commitment to innovation we consistently push forward with our product portfolio.
You will manage and lead your own team and assure the operational success of the whole FMS (Financial Management Software) product portfolio and work as a chief of staff. You team up strongly with the Chief Product Officer and work very closely with the Heads of Software Product units. Your main duties evolve around joint unit level projects, finance management, and overall portfolio management, governance and assuring smooth operations of the unit’s business development. Culture and progress related projects are also led by you together with the Chief Technology Officer. Our Product team consists of 200+ strong software business professionals
We have a large, strong team in several locations around Finland and a growing, agile team and a solid customer base in Sweden and Denmark. This position is ideally based at our Head Office in Keilaniemi Espoo, but other locations in Finland could also be considered and when needed, we will provide relocation assistance. This role will include some travelling.

Our expectation towards the role revolves around progressive experience in the Software or IT Industry and a senior level management background. Evidence of successful people leadership, coaching, and especially project management is what we are also looking for. To succeed in this position, you will need to have a strong and positive outlook in addition to having an extensive change management experience. Our Product team is evolving, and you will play an integral part in shaping our future!
We will grow internationally and for this reason we are looking for someone who already has operated in international, matrix working environments. Proven experience in ramping up international growth is needed in this position. We are a fast growing and evolving company; our ideal candidate is positive and agile. Being able to adapt to change quickly is important and but even more importantly; you can lead our product teams through change with a positive and focused mindset!
- Around 10-15 years of experience in relevant roles in the IT/Software industry
- A relevant master’s degree or equivalent
- Knowledge or experience of different Software Development KPI’s, models, and ways of working
- Knowledge or experience of product life cycle management
- A proven track record of leading large and diverse teams
- The ability to coach and lead both performance and people, and take ownership of resourcing, planning and recruitment activities
- Strong evidence on working in a Matrix role within the organization
- Fluency both in Finnish and English
